Delhi University (DU) is considering a few waiver for students who lost their parents due to Covid-19.

The Delhi University (DU) is considering waiving fees for students whose parents died as a result of Covid-19. All associated colleges have been instructed to conduct a poll and compile a list of pupils who lost one or both parents to the pandemic.

"Delhi University has written to all of its campuses, requesting that they undertake a survey of students who have lost parents to the coronavirus. We've asked for a report on the situation by Monday "Balaram Pani, the Dean of Colleges, said PTI.

The varsity's interim Vice-Chancellor, Professor PC Joshi, stated that the fee waiver issue is being "seriously considered."

The VC emphasized that offering free education to all Delhi University (DU) students who lost their parents in the pandemic until they are studying here will be a focal area for the administration during a prayer meeting conducted in memory of varsity personnel who died as a result of the epidemic.
