Millions of people worldwide are into the habit of blog writing in Digital Marketing, and such a segment includes people writing blogs with different purposes. Some write for their passion while others pursue it as a career and are earning a huge amount out of it depending on the traffic they can generate on their writings. Writing is not a simple task and every aspect from the start till the end must be written with utmost care taking each step of writing into consideration.
So let's understand how to structure a blog post to show up on research engines such as google so that it can be made sure that the right audience can find you and at the same time come back and check out your blog. So before we deeply understand each step that proves to be effective in blog writing, let's talk about the three core elements of any blog post which must be given proper attention while creating the outline.
Firstly, the blog post must have an introduction; ideally, a keyword must be located inside it. A keyword is any word, phrase, or bunch of words that the audience is searching for.

The second part includes the body which includes the blog post's main content, which will be the tips, hacks, tutorials, or anything else that a blog writer plans to share within the blog post. Lastly, the third paragraph includes the conclusion which ideally should also have a call to action which simply means what you want your reader to do next. While creating the outline, these three critical parts must be ready to go, and now let's dive into some tips and trick which helps in attracting more and more traffic to the blogs you write.

Table of content:
1) Selection of topic:
2) Adding Value
3) Putting engaging headlines:
4) Adding more visual content:
5) Improving the site's performance:

1) Selection of topic:

The topic selection is the foremost and crucial step in blog writing as traffic will not be generated at any cost if the topic is not related to the viewers' interest. even if the content is excellent. So the solution to this issue is by reading the blogs of other creators and forums. There are also a bunch of tools that help in assessing the reading taste of the views such as google trends which shows the graph depicting the rise or decline of interest over time, buzzsomu indicating the topics which are generating the most social shares currently, and semrush which helps in finding out the keywords which the competitors are ranking above on Google and there are many more tools like these.

2) Adding Value:

The bitter reality is that although there are millions of people writing posts, one feature blocking their growth is the monotony and the lack of uniqueness in their content. Therefore, it is very crucial to write a blog from a unique angle, finding depth, and adding more usability and value to the content rather than just giving information.

 3) Putting engaging headlines:

An attractive and engaging headline with a sprinkle of spiciness becomes crucial to remain apart and unique from other blog writers. It has been found that on average, five times as many people read headlines than readied the body copy. Certain points must be kept in mind while writing a headline for the post such as the headline acts as a promise and should always deliver that promise to the audience and while writing it must leave an unanswered question so that the audience becomes curious to find the answer to that question or to read more about and could not resist themselves to dive straight into the body.

4) Adding more visual content:

In such an era of competition where millions of people are doing the same thing, it becomes very necessary to make the content very appealing to the audience so that they find it different and their interest in reading more as that develops. So, one strategy that could be adopted is by introducing visual content to the post, which will help get more likes, shares, and ultimately more traffic. Certain steps such as adding unique featured images, infographics, videos, screenshots, cartoons, memes, and unique graphics, and representing data with graphs and charts could prove to be very successful.

5) Improving the site's performance:

Other than the content, the next thing that matters a lot to the audience is the website's performance. So, such issues must be properly taken into priority by the content creators. Content marketing is another profession for content writers. They may make this a profession by pursuing Digital Marketing. Content Creators can be made sure that the blog's loading time is up to the mark as it is also a ranking factor for search engines like google and improves the user's experience and conversions. Any unnecessary items which are causing distractions must also be removed from the website as everything on the blog must be one that helps in achieving the desired goal.  Load impact and Pagespeed Insights by Google are some of the tools which help in improving page load times.
Blog writing has been pursued as a full-time as well as a part-time career by many people all over the world. Therefore, it becomes crucial for people to follow certain steps which would make them stand apart from such a crowd and helps in attracting and sustaining their audience.

Is blog writing really good as a means of earning income?

No doubt, blog writing has attracted many people to pursue it as a part-time and a full-time career but it takes little time to reach that stage where people started to earn a decent amount with their writings.

What are the challenges faced as a blogger?

What is the purpose of a blog?

A blog is an online informational website that is usually run by an individual, group, or corporation to regularly update content regarding a particular topic and is usually written in an informal and conversational style.
