The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will begin the online application process for  National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2020 from June 9th, 2021 on the official website of UPSC @upsc.gov.in. According to the UPSC examination calendar the last date to apply for UPSC NDA II Examination is  June 29th,2021.Howeverdue to the recent upsurge in the number of Covid -19 cases in the country there might also be a possibility for the notification release schedule to get postponed .
Therefore, candidates who are interested in applying must regularly visit the official website of UPSC for more information related to the notificaton .

After successful registration for the posts candidates will have to appear for UPSC NDA 1 Exam which is scheduled to be held on 05th, September 2021 at various test centres across the country.

Educational Qualification for UPSC NDA II:
 

For Army Wing of NDA: Candidates must have passed Class 12th examination from a 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:  Candidates must have passed Class 12th  with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from  the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing for  12th Class examination  under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Nationality :

  • The candidate  must hold an  Indian Citizenship
  • He / She can be a Subject of  Nepal or  Bhutan. 
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.
  • A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
  • Please Note: Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government  of India in their favour.
