  • Group "B": Posts in the Salary Band-2 with grade pay of Rs.5400, Rs.4800, Rs.4600, and Rs.4200 in the pay scale of Rs 9,300 – 34,800. These positions pay between Rs.35,000 and Rs.55,000.
  • Group "C": Posts in the Pay Band-1 with a grade pay of Rs.2800, Rs.2400, Rs.2000, Rs.1900, and Rs.1800 in the pay scale of Rs.5,200-20,200. These positions pay between Rs.20,000 and Rs.40,000 per month.

DSSSB Teacher Allowances and Benefits

The following are the numerous allowances to which a DSSSB employee is entitled: -
  • HRA or Residential Quarters (which is 24 percent of the basic pay). It depends on whether the employee uses the provided quarters or finds his or her own lodging.
  • Dearness Allowance (DA) is a 9% increase in basic pay.
  • Both groups receive a monthly transportation allowance (TA) of Rs.3,600.
  • On the Travel Allowance (TA), the Dearness Allowance (DA) is 9% of the TA.

As a result, the gross monthly pay is as follows:
  • A primary teacher earns 51,006, a TGT earns 63,641, and a PGT earns 67,232.
  • However, deductions for NPS and income tax diminish this gross pay by a small amount.
  • Women are entitled to at least 6 months of maternity leave.
