In the  wake of the  events due to the  recent upsurge in the number of  Corona Virus cases  across the country , it has been decided today to cancel the class 12th  board exams by Prime Minister Narendra Modi alongwith other ministers in a high level meeting  held today.This decision has been taken after taking into consideration the safety of the students .

As the Corona case have been increasing drastically, this decision was taken after considering the views and opinions of various stakeholders.However the  board has decided that it will take all the necessary steps required to reach at a conclusion so as to formulate a plan to compile the results of  students  according to a well-defined  criteria in a time-bound manner..

PM Modi stated that the decision on the Class 12th CBSE board exams has been taken in the interest of students due to the uncertainity created due to the pandemic.Putting an end to the anxiety and panic created amongst paents and teachers due to the uncertainity regarding the exams PM Modi stated that health and safety of our students is of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect.

"Government of India has decided to cancel the Class XII CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth", tweeted the Prime Minister .The  decision came towards the end of a high level  meeting held today on the matter. The meeting was attended by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Chairman Manoj Ahuja, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh among others .

  • SSC Grade C and Grade D Stenographer (SSC Stenographer) - SSC conducts Stenographer Exam to recruit candidates to work in a courtroom or any corporate place for legal proceedings. The role is to transcribe spoken words by typing them into a steno machine, a kind of shorthand typewriter. The educational qualification for this exam is a high school graduate certificate. The stenography skills certificate is also required to take the exam.

  • Railway Group D (RRB/RRC Group D)- The RRB Group D Exam CBT I is to be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on behalf of the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). RRB Group D recruitment is conducted to choose eligible candidates for Level-I posts.
     

  • Indian Army Exam for the post of Technical Entry Scheme, Mahila Constables, Soldiers, Junior Commissioned Officers for Catering

  • Indian Navy Exam for the post of Sailor, Artificer Apprentice and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR)
