He adds, “My vision is to create a startup and set up online products of good quality, at a competitive price. For this, I will have to learn how to digitalize marketing and manufacturing activities. This would have not been possible without having some knowledge of digital marketing, hence, I decided to take the course.”
While stating all these reasons, Devendra Kumar also stated that he is diabetic and had his backbone fractured once for which he was on bed rest for 15 months. To maintain his health which deteriorated and to remove all this negativity and empty-mindedness, stay active physically and mentally, he enrolled in this online course.
While Devendra understands that starting something online or creating a startup through a digital marketing platform will take time and things might not get easy at the initial stages, he will try his best to get maximum knowledge gradually in the process. “We obviously cannot compare any large platforms or international platforms- say, Amazon, Myntra, etc. to what I am seeing as a way for prospects but we can invest in more gradually and tie-up with other cities and local businesses for social work,” says the 65-year-old.
Through this digital marketing course, he believes that professionals like him will be able to gain skills and experience while also being engaged in social service. He plans to guide and offer jobs concerning digital marketing services to unemployed people and students. In addition to this, he also plans to hire web designers for the perfect web design of products. However, right now, he has no money to initiate all this action and plans to do so in some times after 3 months of the online course, which is to start from 25 February.
