Long Independence Day speech for teachers

Respected teachers, the principal, the vice president, the distinguished chief guest, and my lovely students: Greetings from all of us!

To everyone who has assembled here to commemorate this great holiday of India's freedom, happy independence. I appreciate your time and attention, and with this I'd like to start my speech. I'm here to talk about how significant today is. Every Indian is aware that on August 15, 1947, we gained our freedom, yet few are aware of its significance. I would want to shed some light on the matter that has to be addressed in the dazzling light of our independence beneath the roof of our Tiranga as an independent citizen of the Republic of India.

On Independence Day, we commemorate not only the sacrifices made by our great freedom warriors but also all the accomplishments of our country, which further motivates us to succeed in all facets of life. Our proud warriors, who bravely guard our borders day and night so that we can live in peace in our nation, are responsible for our ranking among the top five military powers in the world today. In addition to shielding us from potential terrorist attacks, they are also always ready to assist in rescue efforts when a disaster strikes the nation.

I hope you all remember Mangal Pandey, a heroic Indian soldier who served in the British military. He is credited with starting the "Revolt of 1857," the first uprising against British rule. Later, many more freedom warriors entered the fray and dedicated the remainder of their lives to the cause of independence. The sacrifices done by Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, and Khudi Ram Bose, who passed away at a young age, to free the country from the grip of slavery, cannot be disregarded. The battles of Gandhiji and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose are very important to remember.

This is all coming from my end. Let's all say, "Jai Hind!"

Short Independence Day speech for teachers

Good morning to everyone. Happy Independence Day to all of you, first and foremost!

Students, you may be wondering why the event was scheduled for today rather than the usual day before Independence Day. But let me to tell you that management made this decision because we wanted to celebrate it with plenty of fanfare that very day to make it even more remarkable. Words cannot express the level of excitement I am experiencing as I stand here at the stage in front of you all today, feeling so pleased to have hosted such a wonderful day. We should all be grateful that we can call independent India home and should never forget the sacrifices made by our forefathers during the fight for Indian independence. We should ask the Lord to grant us the bravery and strength we need to devote our lives to serving our country.

Children, please realise that there are several ways in which we may serve our country. To really be referred to as the son or daughter of the country, we do not necessarily need to enlist in the military or engage in combat. Being the best at all we do will help us achieve it. If one of you were to become a doctor, for instance, it would be your duty to assist humanity as best you can. It is also crucial to work occasionally in a selfless manner and contribute to the elevation of the underprivileged members of society; in this case, if you need to attend to a patient who cannot afford pricey medications or medical care, you would be required to provide them with free care.

All right, that's everything for today. Let's get started with the performances.

Thank you, and "Jai Hind!"
