Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organisation of the Government of India commissioned to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.
Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam popularly known as SSC CHSL is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission for selection of candidates to the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) for the various ministries and departments of the Government of India.
